Kawaii Slime Company's new Disney Springs kiosk sells slime by the scoop like ice cream, at $9.99 a scoop. It took over the old face painting spot near Ghirardelli.
Disney Springs has a new scoop shop, and you absolutely should not eat anything from it.
Kawaii Slime Company is now open at Disney Springs, Laughing Place reported Monday, Nov. 2. The kiosk sits by Ghirardelli in the Marketplace, in the spot the face painting and temporary tattoo stand used before it closed in September.
The headliner is a slime scoop bar set up like an ice cream counter. One scoop costs $9.99. Two scoops cost $19.98 and come in an upgraded waffle bowl. Toppings are 25 cents a gram.
MickeyBlog stressed that none of it is edible. Your toddler may need a reminder. Possibly several.
Here's a look at the new Kawaii Slime Company at Disney Springs:
How much is slime at Disney Springs?
MickeyBlog posted the full price list:
Slime scoop bar: $9.99 for one scoop, $19.98 for two with a waffle bowl, or $17.99 for a pint
Toppings: 25 cents per gram
DIY Slime Station: $15.99 for a round container, $16.99 for a boba container, $18.99 for the signature dome slime
Deco creams: $5.99 each, plus $6.99 for deco tips
Squishies and sensory toys: $4.95 to $10.95
Keychains: 3 for $23
Shelly the Jelly plush: $19.99
That per-gram topping price adds up fast. Twenty grams of toppings turns a $9.99 scoop into $14.99, by our math. Kids who believe more sprinkles is always better will test this theory.
Also, a pint costs $17.99, which is less than two scoops at $19.98. You lose the fancy waffle bowl, but you save about two bucks. Choose wisely.
What flavors does Kawaii Slime Company sell?
Scoop bar flavors MickeyBlog spotted include Strawberry, Bubble Gum, Unicorn, Cotton Candy and Dreamsicle. Topping choices include cherries, gummies, marshmallows, Oreos, candies and sprinkles.
Over at the DIY Slime Station, guests pick their own scents, colors, textures and add-ins, the Disney Parks Blog said in October.
There's also a decorating station. You can cover a heart jewelry box, brush, locking book box, claw clips, cake box or frame with deco cream, which is the frosting-like stuff that makes things look like tiny desserts.
Does Kawaii Slime Company have Disney Springs exclusives?
None have been announced. Nothing we read mentioned Disney character slime or a Disney Springs-only item.
The closest thing to a mascot is Shelly the Jelly, the company's octopus-like character, who comes as a $19.99 plush. Shelly starred in the animated video announcing the move, flying from California to Florida.
Products at the Downtown Disney cart include slimes like Strawberry Milk Glossy Slime and You're Toad-ally Awesome Clear Slime. Disney Springs could carry some of the same lineup, but no one has confirmed a product list beyond the scoop bar and DIY items.
Is Kawaii Slime Company leaving Downtown Disney?
Not as far as we can tell. Some sites framed this as the brand packing up and leaving California. As of Tuesday, Disneyland's website still listed the Kawaii Slime Cart in the Downtown Disney District, open 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Mickey Visit described the Disney Springs shop as an expansion. It also called Kawaii Slime Company a woman-owned toy brand built around the kawaii look, which roughly means "cute" in Japanese.
Disney Springs and Kawaii Slime Company announced the Florida location in early October with a joint Instagram reel that ended with "See you at Disney Springs!"
Where is Kawaii Slime Company in Disney Springs?
Head to the Marketplace side of Disney Springs and look for Ghirardelli. The kiosk is right by it, in the former face painting location.
That's handy, because it's near a place where you can buy actual edible treats. Just keep the two bags separate on the ride home.
