Churro Doughnut Dots arrive at participating Krispy Kreme shops nationwide on Tuesday, Sept. 22. They’re only around for a limited time, and Krispy Kreme says they’re available while supplies last.
What are Krispy Kreme Churro Doughnut Dots?
They’re bite-size doughnut balls with a churro twist.
Each order comes with eight Doughnut Dots rolled in cinnamon sugar. They’re made with the same light, airy dough Krispy Kreme uses for its regular doughnuts, per the company’s announcement.
On the side, you get dulce de leche dipping sauce. That’s a thick, sweet caramel sauce made from milk and sugar, and it’s what makes these taste like a trip to the fair.
Are Krispy Kreme Churro Doughnut Dots glazed?
Surprisingly, no.
Krispy Kreme is famous for its Original Glazed. These dots skip the glaze and go straight for the cinnamon sugar coating, the way a real churro would.
