Walmart has three 4.5-foot lighted Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake inflatables at $29.97 each. The original white-icing version is in stock and moving, with 100-plus sold in a day. The green and chocolate versions are already out online, but could come back in stock.
Little Debbie has gone from your pantry to your front lawn, and people are snatching them up almost as fast as the actual snack cakes.
Walmart is carrying 4.5-foot lighted yard inflatables shaped like Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes, the snack cakes that cause a small frenzy every holiday season.
All three cost $29.97. Only one is actually available right now.
Which ones you can get
The original Christmas Tree Cake version, the one with white icing and candy sprinkles, is in stock. Walmart flags it as a best seller with 100-plus bought since yesterday, and it was showing same-day shipping availability.
It’s listed at $29.97, down from $34.97.
The green version and the chocolate version are both out of stock for shipping and delivery online. Both carry the same $29.97 price.
If you want one of those two, check store pickup rather than ordering online.
The white one is the returning favorite
The original white-icing design is the one people recognize from the box.
It has a 4.3-star rating from early buyers, and it was the only one of the three with customer ratings at all. The green and chocolate versions have none, which points to them being new this year.
What all three include
The specs are identical across the lineup.
4.5 feet tall
Built-in LED lights
Self-inflating, deflates for storage
Stakes and instructions included
Rated for indoor or outdoor use
Walmart is also running extended holiday returns through Jan. 31 on the in-stock version.
$29.97 how much they cost
For context on whether this is a licensing premium, it isn’t.
Walmart’s comparable 4.5-foot licensed inflatables sit at the same price. A Peanuts Woodstock in a Santa hat is $29.97. A Dr. Seuss Max as a gingerbread man is $29.97.
Generic snowman and Christmas tree inflatables in the 5-to-8-foot range run anywhere from $20 to $56, so the Little Debbie versions are priced normally for what they are.
One caution: third-party sellers on the same listing start around $50.70. Buy from Walmart directly.
Christmas Tree Cakes are super popular!
Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes show up for a limited window each holiday season and sell out regularly. There are Facebook groups that track stock. People buy cases. The cakes have spawned candles, apparel, and an ice cream collaboration.
The Cosmic Brownie version
A Cosmic Brownie inflatable has been reported alongside the Christmas Tree Cake versions. Cosmic Brownies are Little Debbie’s other cult product, the ones with the colored candy-coated chips.
How to actually get one
Order the white version online now if you want it, since it’s the only one shipping and it’s moving quickly. Walmart’s listing showed low stock at the time of checking.
You may find it in store as well.
For the green and chocolate versions, use the store pickup option on the product pages to check local inventory, or just walk the seasonal Christmas aisle. Walmart has Christmas decor out already, Halloween notwithstanding.
It is possible a restock could occur since it’s only October, so keep checking!
