Episodes 1 through 3 of the 2021 Disney+ series are streaming on Marvel’s official YouTube channel ahead of VisionQuest, which premieres Oct. 14 on Disney+. No subscription needed.
Marvel is giving away a little Disney+ for free.
The first three episodes of WandaVision are now on Marvel’s official YouTube channel, free to watch, per GamesRadar and Laughing Place. They went up around Oct. 1 and 2, less than two weeks before VisionQuest premieres on Disney+.
It’s a smart move. If you never watched WandaVision, you can try it without paying. If you did, it’s a free rewatch before the new show.
Which WandaVision episodes are free on YouTube?
Episodes 1, 2 and 3, per Laughing Place.
Those are the classic-sitcom episodes, and they’re the strangest stretch of the show:
Episode 1, “Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience,” plays like a black-and-white 1950s sitcom.
Episode 2, “Don’t Touch That Dial,” moves into the 1960s, with a magic-housewife feel.
Episode 3, “Now in Color,” jumps to a 1970s family sitcom, in color for the first time.
Marvel hasn’t said whether more episodes are coming to YouTube, or how long these three will stay up. If you want to watch, don’t wait too long.
Where can you watch WandaVision for free?
On the Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel. Episode 1 is embedded below.
The full nine-episode series is still on Disney+, along with Agatha All Along.
When does VisionQuest come out?
Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, on Disney+.
Paul Bettany is back as Vision, and James Spader returns as Ultron for the first time since Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015. The show has eight episodes.
It wraps up the story that started with WandaVision and continued in Agatha All Along, so Marvel is basically handing you the first chapter of a three-show trilogy.
GamesRadar also says more VisionQuest news is expected at New York Comic Con in October.
Do you need to watch WandaVision before VisionQuest?
It helps a lot.
WandaVision is where the white version of Vision comes from, and where Wanda’s twin boys, Billy and Tommy, first show up. Agatha All Along followed Billy. VisionQuest picks up with Vision and Tommy.
You could jump into VisionQuest cold, but the big emotional moments will land harder if you know what happened in Westview.
What is WandaVision about?
It starts as a mystery.
Elizabeth Olsen‘s Wanda Maximoff and Bettany’s Vision are living a perfect sitcom life in a small town called Westview. Except Vision died in Avengers: Infinity War, and the neighbors are acting a little off.
The first three episodes are mostly about that feeling: something is wrong, and the show won’t tell you what yet. Then, around episode 4, it pulls back the curtain.
Kathryn Hahn plays Agnes, the nosy neighbor, and anybody who’s heard the song “Agatha All Along” knows where that’s going.
How much is Disney+ to watch VisionQuest?
You’ll need a Disney+ subscription for VisionQuest itself.
Disney announced new prices on Sept. 23, per Stocktwits. Disney+ with ads is going from $11.99 to $12.49 a month, and Disney+ Premium is going from $18.99 to $21.49.
If you only want to sample the story first, the free YouTube episodes are the cheapest way in.
How popular was WandaVision?
Very. It premiered on Disney+ on Jan. 15, 2021, as the first Marvel Studios series on the service.
It became one of the most talked-about shows of that winter. “Agatha All Along” won an Emmy for original music and lyrics.
Five years later, Marvel is betting that people who discover it on YouTube will keep going, all the way to Oct. 14.
