McDonald’s has confirmed the date for the SpongeBob SquarePants x One Piece collaboration coming to the United States locations on September 15, 2026. The collab has already been released in other countries, but the Godzilla x Hello Kitty mashup launched stateside first.
McDonald’s has confirmed that the new One Piece meets SpongeBob collection will finally be released in the United States on September 15, 2026.
“What happens when a fry cook with big dreams crosses paths with a young captain determined to become King of the Pirates?” asks McDonald’s on its menu spotter. “Obviously, an unforgettable voyage packed with friendship, adventure, and imagination.”
The new collaboration has 15 toys.
I’m not sure how they will get them all out, given that the Godzilla x Hello Kitty launch has only released three figures in my area so far.
What are the 15 collaboration toys?
SpongeBob x Luffy
SpongeBob x Luffy Gear 5
Patrick x Zoro
Sandy x Nami
Smitty x Brook
Plankton x Usopp
Squidward x Sanji
Gary x Chopper
Pearl x Robin
Larry x Franky
Mr. Krabs x Jinbe
Flying Dutchman x Blackbeard
Mrs. Puff x Big Mom
Barnacle Boy x Koby
Mermaid Man x Monkey D. Garp
Almost 60 other countries have already seen the rollout of this collaboration that began in August.
Japan will not get the release at all, and the United States had to wait until after the Godzilla x Hello Kitty release.
