The Nov. 8 kickoff and Nov. 20 are both gone at Magic Kingdom, leaving 15 of the party’s 25 nights. Here’s what’s left, what it costs and which dates went first.
If you were waiting to buy tickets for the first night of Disney World’s Christmas party, you waited too long.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party opening night, Sunday, Nov. 8, has sold out at Magic Kingdom, BlogMickey and Disney Fanatic reported Sunday, Oct. 18. Friday, Nov. 20 sold out too, according to BlogMickey.
That makes 10 sold-out nights out of 25. The party opens in about three weeks.
Here’s a peek at the party from Disney Parks:
Which Very Merry Christmas Party nights are sold out?
Ten dates are gone, according to BlogMickey’s tracker.
November: 8, 9, 12, 13, 17, 20 and 24.
December: 1, 20 and 22.
Nov. 24 was the first night to sell out, on Sept. 29. Closing night, Dec. 22, went on Oct. 3, BlogMickey said.
Nov. 9, Nov. 13 and Dec. 1 sold out Friday, Oct. 16, taking the last of the $189 nights with them, as we reported. Opening night and Nov. 20 followed this weekend.
Which nights are still available?
Fifteen nights were still on sale as of Sunday.
November: 15, 19, 25, 27 and 29.
December: 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 18.
Disney says tickets are limited and may not be available on the day of the event or earlier, according to BlogMickey.
How much are tickets for the nights that are left?
Adult tickets for the open nights run $194 to $229, Disney Fanatic reported. Kids ages 3 to 9 pay $10 less, and kids under 3 get in free with a paying adult.
The cheapest nights left are Nov. 15 and Nov. 19, at $194, or $184 for Annual Passholders, BlogMickey said. After that, the next step up is Nov. 25 at $209.
The most expensive nights left are Dec. 17 and Dec. 18, at $229.
Four Passholder-discount nights remain: Nov. 15, 19 and 29, and Dec. 3. Discount nights keep selling out faster than the rest of the calendar, BlogMickey noted.
How fast did the party sell out last year?
Fast. All 25 nights of the 2025 party sold out by Nov. 19, at the same $229 top price, BlogMickey said.
Opening night was also the first date to sell out in both 2024 and 2025. This year, guests had a much longer window to grab the kickoff.
That pace matters for families planning around Thanksgiving, Nov. 26. Nov. 24 is already gone, and only Nov. 25 and 27 remain that week, plus Nov. 29 that Sunday.
What do you get at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?
The party runs from 7 p.m. to midnight, and ticket holders can enter as early as 4 p.m.
On party nights, Magic Kingdom closes early for regular day guests. On Nov. 8, for example, the park is scheduled to close at 6 p.m. for everyone without a party ticket, WDWMagic said.
The 2026 lineup includes Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, BlogMickey said. There’s also party-only merchandise and specialty food and drinks, according to Disney Fanatic.
What if you can’t get a party ticket?
You can still get plenty of holiday fun at Magic Kingdom without one.
The resort’s holiday season runs Nov. 13 through Jan. 6, 2027, Disney Parks Blog said. Magic Kingdom adds “Frozen Holiday Surprise!,” where Elsa turns Cinderella Castle into a glowing ice palace, and the Jingle Cruise returns.
On non-party nights, the Disney Starlight parade keeps running. It doesn’t perform on party nights, when Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade takes over.
Are other Disney World holiday parties selling out?
Yes. Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios sold out its Nov. 7 opening night by Oct. 11, WDWMagic reported.
In 2025, Jollywood’s opening night sold out on Oct. 18, about three weeks out. Remaining Jollywood dates run $169 to $199 per person.
Jollywood Nights runs on select nights through Jan. 5, 2027, Disney Parks Blog said.
If you want a party night, now’s the time to book.
