New Scooby Doo Velma and Daphne Dolls Coming Soon. Why is this the Mindy Kaling Version?

New Scooby Doo dolls are coming from Jakks Pacific, featuring Daphne and Velma.

Yet somehow Velma reminds me of the Mindy Kaling version of the character from the “Velma” show that struck out with fans.

I am not sure if that is the intention here, but that’s how it is coming across.

But Why?

I’m not sure why Velma suddenly shows her midriff, but she is now!

I guess she got the Ozempic treatment.

Daphne is carrying a Mystery Machine purse, while Velma has a Scooby Doo bag with his initial tag, and a bone that almost seems like she skinned him.

You can’t make this stuff up!

How much?

We don’t know how much these dolls will be, but I am guessing they will be similar in price to the DC Collector dolls at around $40 each.

Frankly, the price on the DC dolls is too high, so I hope the Scooby Doo ones are less.

The faces on the DC dolls and Daphne too look about the same, which makes them feel cheaper to me.

Just reusing the same mold.

These dolls will be Walmart Exclusive.
