Oreo drops Banana Pudding, Deep Fried, and Chicken & Waffles flavors, and fans vote which survives
Oreo’s Twist, Lick, Vote lets fans pick the flavor that survives
Oreo is releasing three new flavors: Banana Pudding, Deep Fried, and Chicken & Waffles for a fan vote to determine which one comes back in 2027. The cookies hit stores August 24.
Ever want to eat Chicken & Waffles cookies? Well, now you can!
Oreo just put three new flavors on the table, and fans will fight to see which one makes a return in 2027.
Twist, Lick, Vote
The cookie brand announced the Twist, Lick, Vote campaign.
Oreo will release the three limited-edition flavors at the same time and the public will vote to see which one returns.
The choices are Banana Pudding, Deep Fried, and Chicken & Waffles
Oreo says it’s the first time it’s ever released three new flavors simultaneously and pitted them against each other in a fan vote.
The three new Oreo flavors, explained
Two of these sound like desserts. One sounds like a question mark.
Here’s what they taste like.
Banana Pudding Oreo: layers of sweet banana and vanilla pudding creme, dual-layered, sandwiched between vanilla wafer cookies
Deep Fried Oreo: fried dough-flavored cookies wrapped around dark chocolate and fried dough-flavored creme, meant to taste like the fair-food classic baked right in
Chicken & Waffles Oreo: the savory-sweet wild card, and the one everyone’s going to talk about
It sounds like the South to me, and that isn’t a bad thing.
How the Oreo Twist, Lick, Vote contest works
You buy the packs, taste them, and cast your vote for your favorite. There’s a QR code on every limited-edition pack, or you can vote at OREO.com/twist-lick-vote. Whichever flavor gets the most votes is the one that comes back in 2027. The other two, presumably, return to the vault.
It actually means, “We can get people to buy three packs of cookies instead of one.”
When and where to get the new Oreo flavors
Starting August 17, all three packs go up for presale at OREO.com and the TikTok Shop through SnackWorks’ storefront.
Then on August 24, the cookies roll out to grocery and retail stores nationwide for a limited time, while supplies last.
Oreo didn’t announce pricing, but I would expect standard limited-edition Oreo pricing when they hit shelves.
So the ballot’s open. Banana Pudding is the favorite, Deep Fried is the nostalgia pick, and Chicken & Waffles is the chaotic underdog. Buy all three, pick a side, and may the best cookie win.
