The bakery chain’s spooky lineup started Oct. 1 with two spicy new chocolate treats, plus the Spider Mochi Donut, Dirt & Worms cake and more returning favorites.
Paris Baguette is bringing actual heat to Halloween this year.
The bakery cafe chain’s Halloween menu arrives Thursday, Oct. 1, and it includes two new items made with ghost pepper, one of the hottest chili peppers in the world, the company announced Sept. 24.
The menu runs through Nov. 1 at Paris Baguette cafes across North America.
What’s new on Paris Baguette’s Halloween menu?
Two ghost pepper treats:
Ghost Pepper Chocolate Marble Mochi Donut: Paris Baguette’s chewy mochi donut, “finished with chocolate marble frosting and a fiery ghost pepper kick,” per the company.
Ghost Pepper Iced Hot Chocolate: An iced hot chocolate that “balances chocolatey sweetness with a fiery ghost pepper kick.”
Yes, an iced hot chocolate. Hot in one way, cold in the other.
How spicy is ghost pepper?
Very. The ghost pepper, also called bhut jolokia, was once named the hottest pepper in the world by Guinness World Records, back in 2007. It’s since been passed by hotter peppers like the Carolina Reaper, but it still packs far more heat than a jalapeno.
Paris Baguette hasn’t said how much ghost pepper goes into each treat. It’s described as a “kick,” so it’s likely more of a warm finish than a dare. Still, if you don’t like spicy food, stick with the returning favorites.
What Halloween treats are coming back to Paris Baguette?
Six returning items, per the company:
The Halloween Scream Donut is a cream donut filled with cookies and cream, topped with white chocolate icing and chocolate cookie eyes. The Spider Mochi Donut gets cookies and cream white chocolate, a chocolate sandwich cookie and chocolate drizzle spider legs.
For cake, there’s the Vanilla Scream Ghost Cake, a vanilla sponge with pastry cream, fresh strawberries and ghost and spider web decorations. The Dirt & Worms Chocolate Chiffon Cake comes with cookies and cream soft cream, cookie crumbs and gummy worms, and you can get it by the slice too.
The Dirt & Worms Frappe is a cookies and cream frappe with cookie crumbs and gummy worms on top. And for parties, the Halloween Donut Box has six Spider Mochi Donuts and six Halloween Scream Donuts.
How much do the Paris Baguette Halloween treats cost?
Paris Baguette didn’t list prices, and they can vary by location. Check the Paris Baguette app or your local cafe menu starting Oct. 1.
Does Paris Baguette have Halloween deals?
Yes, for PB Rewards members. The deals, per the company:
Oct. 5-26: 100 bonus points on Mondays during “More Points Mondays.”
Oct. 16: Buy one pastry, get one free, for Boss’s Day.
Oct. 31: A free pastry with any drink purchase on Halloween.
Nov. 13: A pastry for 13 cents with any purchase, on Friday the 13th.

Where is Paris Baguette?
Paris Baguette is a bakery cafe chain that started in South Korea and has been growing fast in the U.S. The company is aiming for 1,000 North American cafes by 2030, per its announcement.
That means there may be one near you now that wasn’t there last Halloween. The store locator on Paris Baguette’s website will tell you.
When does the Paris Baguette Halloween menu end?
Nov. 1. So you have a month to decide whether you’re a gummy worm person or a ghost pepper person. Or both, if you’re brave.
