Disney+ dropped the full trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 on Monday. The Titan’s Curse season premieres Nov. 20 with two episodes on Disney+ and Hulu.
Annabeth is in trouble, and Percy is not taking it well.
Disney+ released the first full trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 on Monday, Nov. 2. The new season adapts The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan‘s series, and it premieres in less than three weeks.
If you’ve read the book, you know this is the one where things get a lot bigger. More gods, more monsters and a quest that doesn’t leave everybody standing at the end.
Here’s the official trailer from Disney+:
When does Percy Jackson Season 3 come out?
Season 3 premieres Friday, Nov. 20, 2026, with two episodes on Disney+ and Hulu. After that, two new episodes drop every week, according to Disney’s press release.
Disney first set the November date back in July around San Diego Comic-Con. Monday’s trailer locks in the countdown.
Disney hasn’t said how many episodes Season 3 has. Seasons 1 and 2 each ran eight.
What happens in Percy Jackson Season 3?
Disney’s official synopsis lays out the setup. Annabeth gets captured by the forces of Kronos. Percy sets out to rescue her, and along the way he has to free “a goddess in chains,” face the Titan’s curse and keep Olympus from falling.
He won’t be doing it alone. Grover comes along, plus what Disney calls “unlikely companions,” and the whole group has to deal with a prophecy that doesn’t promise a happy ending.
Deadline described the trailer as a first look at a looming war between the Greek gods and the Titans, with Percy needing all the help he can get.
Who is in the cast of Percy Jackson Season 3?
The core group is back. Disney’s release lists Walker Scobell as Percy, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth and Aryan Simhadri as Grover. Charlie Bushnell returns as Luke and Tamara Smart as Thalia.
The new faces are where Season 3 gets fun. Cast announcements over the past year added:
Dafne Keen as Artemis
Saara Chaudry as Zoe Nightshade, a Hunter of Artemis
Olive Abercrombie as Bianca di Angelo
Levi Chrisopulos as Nico di Angelo
Holt McCallany as Atlas
Hubert Smielecki as Apollo
The gods keep coming too. Ming-Na Wen plays Hera and Kate McKinnon plays Aphrodite, per TV Insider’s cast list. Jennifer Beals is Demeter, Jesse L. Martin is Annabeth’s dad, Frederick Chase, and David Costabile is Dr. Thorn.
That’s a stacked list for a show about middle-school demigods.
Why are Percy Jackson fans so excited about The Titan’s Curse?
Because the movies never got here. The two Percy Jackson films stopped after Sea of Monsters in 2013, so this is the first time The Titan’s Curse has been adapted for the screen.
It’s also where the series introduces Nico and Bianca di Angelo. Nico turns into one of the most important characters in Riordan’s world later on, so a lot of fans have been waiting years to see him show up.
Collider called getting to this book “unfinished business” for anyone who sat through the movies hoping for a third one.
When did Percy Jackson Season 2 come out?
Season 2, based on The Sea of Monsters, premiered Dec. 10, 2025, and wrapped up on Jan. 21, 2026. Disney renewed the show for Season 3 back on March 14, 2025, before Season 2 even aired.
That early renewal is why the gap between seasons is so short this time. Season 3 started filming in Vancouver in August 2025.
“We’re so grateful to be continuing the story of Percy Jackson on Disney+,“ Riordan said when Disney announced the renewal.
Who makes the Percy Jackson TV show?
Riordan created the series with Jonathan E. Steinberg, who runs the show with Dan Shotz. Riordan and his wife, Rebecca Riordan, are both executive producers. Disney hasn’t announced a Season 4.
So the window is set. Nov. 20, two episodes, and a lot of new gods to keep track of. Maybe reread the book first. Or don’t, and let the show surprise you.
