Pop Mart's Peach Riot x KPop Demon Hunters bag charms cost $29.99 a box, and the secret Derpy Gigi turns up once in every 72 boxes. That's $2,159.28 worth of boxes on average to pull one.
Pop Mart wants another Labubu, and it's borrowing HUNTR/X to get one.
The toy company's Peach Riot x KPop Demon Hunters plush pendants are blind-box bag charms that dress Pop Mart's own Peach Riot band as the trio from Netflix's animated hit. Each box costs $29.99. Rolling Stone's Nov. 7 shopping guide put the question plainly: "Can Labubu Lightning Strike Twice?"
Each box holds one of six regular charms or, at 1-in-72 odds, a secret Gigi dressed as Derpy, the movie's goofy blue tiger. Our math: at $29.99 a box, opening 72 boxes costs $2,159.28. Luck sold separately.
For anyone who missed it, Labubu is the toothy little monster from Pop Mart's The Monsters line whose bag charms became a worldwide craze. Rolling Stone's headline sets this drop up as the next test of whether Pop Mart can catch that kind of wave twice.

What's in the Pop Mart KPop Demon Hunters blind boxes?
Peach Riot's three members stand in for HUNTR/X. Gigi takes on Rumi's looks, Frankie plays Zoey and Poppy plays Mira, The Pop Insider reported.
Each character comes in two outfits, one inspired by the "How It's Done" performance and one by "What It Sounds Like." That makes six regular charms:
Gigi: "How It's Done" and "What It Sounds Like" versions
Frankie: "How It's Done" and "What It Sounds Like" versions
Poppy: "How It's Done" and "What It Sounds Like" versions
Secret: Gigi Derpy, 1 in 72
Each charm stands about 6.5 inches tall, not counting the keychain loop, Rolling Stone reported. Pop Mart's listing says they're polyester plush with zinc alloy and plastic parts.
When did the KPop Demon Hunters bag charms come out?
Pop Mart's U.S. website launched them Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. PT. The U.K. store followed Oct. 30, OneInchPunch reported, and Forbes said they reached Pop Mart stores that day, too.
Rolling Stone's Saturday guide points shoppers to Pop Mart's website and to Amazon, where the listing carries a "new release" tag. Pop Mart's site also offers a whole set instead of a single random box. Six single boxes would run $179.94.
Are the KPop Demon Hunters charms OK for kids?
Parents, read the label first. Pop Mart's U.S. listing says the charms are "not suitable for persons under 15." That's a big catch for a movie with plenty of grade-school fans.
For a cheaper blind box, Funko's Pop! Mystery KPop Demon Hunters figures cost $14.99 each on Funko.com, about half the price of a Pop Mart box.
Netflix's official products guide also lists Squishmallows plush, Mattel dolls, Hasbro toys and LEGO sets. Check the age label on whichever one ends up under the tree.
Who is Peach Riot?
Peach Riot is a Pop Mart character line created in 2023 by Los Angeles illustrator Libby Frame, Forbes reported. Forbes called it one of Pop Mart's fastest-growing character lines in North America.
The band has done collabs before, with clothing brand Cider and Los Angeles restaurant Monty's Good Burger. Dressing up as HUNTR/X puts the band on a much bigger stage.
What's next for KPop Demon Hunters?
A sequel. Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation are aiming for 2029, TheWrap reported in November 2025. The first movie became Netflix's most-watched original title, with more than 325 million views in its first 91 days.
That gives Pop Mart a few years of HUNTR/X demand to work with. And it gives Derpy a few more years to hide in boxes.
