Happy, the coffee brand Robert Downey Jr. co-founded, made eight Avengers: Doomsday collector cans, including one with his own Doctor Doom. They’re in stores like Kroger, Target and CVS.
Robert Downey Jr. found a way to sell you Doctor Doom before December.
Happy, the coffee brand Downey co-founded, has a limited collector’s edition line of ready-to-drink coffee made with Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday, Laughing Place reported Oct. 8.
There are eight can designs, and yes, one of them is Doctor Doom, the villain Downey plays in the movie.
Which Marvel characters are on the Happy Doomsday cans?
All eight, per Laughing Place:
Black Panther
Captain America
Gambit
Mister Fantastic
Mystique
The Thing
Thor
Doctor Doom
Each can holds 11 ounces and has raised, textured graphics. Happy’s tagline for the line, per Laughing Place: “Doomsday is coming. We brought coffee.”
Who plays the Marvel characters on the Doomsday cans?
The lineup matches the Avengers: Doomsday cast Marvel announced back in March 2025, during that very long chair-by-chair livestream:
Doctor Doom: Robert Downey Jr.
Thor: Chris Hemsworth
Captain America: Anthony Mackie, as Sam Wilson
Black Panther: Letitia Wright, as Shuri, the current Black Panther
Mister Fantastic: Pedro Pascal
The Thing: Ebon Moss-Bachrach
Gambit: Channing Tatum
Mystique: Rebecca Romijn
So Downey gets to drink a coffee with his own villain on it. Most actors don’t get that perk.
What flavors are the Avengers: Doomsday coffee cans?
Four of Happy’s ready-to-drink flavors got the Marvel treatment:
Classic cold brew
Tahitian vanilla cold brew
Vanilla latte
Chocolate chip latte
The price wasn’t listed in the announcement.
Where can you buy the Avengers: Doomsday coffee?
They’re at retailers nationwide, including all Albertsons banners, Amazon, H-E-B, Kroger, pOpshelf, Raley’s, Schnucks, Sheetz and select CVS and Target stores.
Since it’s a limited edition, the full set of eight might take some hunting. Collectors, you know the drill.
When does Avengers: Doomsday come out?
Friday, Dec. 18. That’s when Downey returns to the MCU, this time as Doom instead of Tony Stark.
Joe and Anthony Russo are directing, and it’s the first Avengers movie since Avengers: Endgame in 2019. The Russos even called the Endgame Encore re-release from September “required viewing” before Doomsday, in an interview with Fandango.
Here’s the official trailer Marvel released in July.
What is Happy coffee?
It’s the coffee company Downey started with entrepreneur Craig Dubitsky, who’s also behind the eos, Method and hello brands. When Target profiled the brand in 2024, it carried Happy’s ground coffee, pods, instant coffee, canned cold brew and lattes in more than 1,000 stores.
The brand works with the National Alliance on Mental Illness, which also holds an equity stake in the company, Target reported at the time.
Has Happy done Marvel promos before?
A few times, and not always to applause.
Back in June, the Russo brothers teased a “surprise” in London that turned out to be bags of “Dom Latveria” small batch coffee, handed out at a central London coffee shop, Popverse reported. Some fans had been hoping for a Doomsday trailer instead.
And in October 2025, Happy teamed up with Bero, the nonalcoholic beer brand co-founded by Tom Holland, on a coffee and a coffee-flavored nonalcoholic stout. Sporked called it an Iron Man and Spider-Man reunion, which, fair.
At this point, the Doomsday marketing machine has covered Dunkin’ and now cold brew. The only thing left is an actual Latverian embassy.
