Sam’s Club’s pre-Black Friday sale will offer $300 Disney gift cards for $270, a 10 percent discount, starting Nov. 6. Plus members get early access, and there’s a limit of four per membership.
One of the best Disney gift card deals of the year is almost here.
Sam’s Club will sell $300 Disney gift cards for $270 each, a 10 percent savings, according to Mickey Visit. The deal comes from a new flyer mailed to Sam’s Club members.
The sale starts Friday, Nov. 6, and technically runs through Sunday, Nov. 8. But the cards usually sell out fast.
When does the Sam’s Club Disney gift card sale start?
Plus members get early access starting Thursday, Nov. 5, at 9 p.m. ET, according to Mickey Visit.
Everyone else with a Sam’s Club membership can shop starting Nov. 6. The exact time hasn’t been announced, though Mickey Visit expects it may also be 9 p.m. ET.
You need a Sam’s Club membership to buy the cards.
How many Disney gift cards can you buy at Sam’s Club?
Four per membership, according to the fine print on the mailer. That means you could buy up to $1,200 in Disney gift cards for $1,080, saving $120.
Last year’s sale offered $200 cards at 10 percent off, with the same limit of four. So this year’s bigger cards mean bigger savings.
Will the Sam’s Club Disney gift cards sell out?
Probably, and fast. Mickey Visit doesn’t expect any cards to be left after the first day of the general sale.
Plus members get the first shot, which can shrink what’s left for everyone else. If you want them, be logged in to your Sam’s Club account and ready to check out the moment the sale opens.
What can you use Disney gift cards for?
A lot of Disney spending. Disney gift cards can be used at Walt Disney World, Disneyland and on Disney Cruise Line, Mickey Visit noted.
You can use them to pay for Disney Resort hotel stays, theme park tickets, food and merchandise. Disney also recently started letting guests add gift cards as a payment method for mobile food orders, Mickey Visit reported.
That makes a 10 percent discount a simple way to save on a trip you’re already planning.
What other Disney gift card discounts are available?
There are a few. Target‘s store credit and debit card, formerly called RedCard, gives 5 percent off purchases, including Disney gift cards, any time of year.
Mickey Visit also spotted a 10 percent Disney gift card discount at Dollar General and a new 10 percent offer on the Google Play Store.
Warehouse clubs like Costco also run Disney gift card deals from time to time. These offers come and go quickly, so read the terms before you buy.
When is the next Sam’s Club Disney gift card sale?
Sam’s Club typically holds two big Disney gift card sales a year. One comes just before Black Friday, and another arrives in the spring, according to Mickey Visit.
The cards don’t expire, so many Disney fans buy during these sales and save them for future trips.
How can you get the most out of a Disney gift card sale?
Plan ahead. Figure out how much you’ll spend on your next Disney trip, then buy only what you’ll use.
If you have a large hotel bill coming up, gift cards can be split across payments. Some fans also combine discounted gift cards with credit card rewards to stretch their vacation budget even further.
