Gideon’s Bakehouse’s savory spot has been soft open since August. Its official grand opening is Saturday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m., with a free logo pin for early guests who buy something.
Six Ravens has been serving its stuffed hand pies at Disney Springs for a couple of months. Now it’s making things official.
The savory spot from the Gideon’s Bakehouse team will hold its “Grand Opening Congregation” on Saturday, Oct. 17, starting at 10 a.m., Six Ravens announced on social media, as reported by WDW News Today and Disney Food Blog.
“Step into the realm of Six Ravens this Saturday for our Grand Opening Congregation!” the post reads.
Six Ravens soft-opened on Aug. 3, Disney Food Blog reported. Laughing Place called it an “exceptionally soft opening,” which made it tricky for some guests to plan around.
WrightDownMainStreet tried the entire menu right after Six Ravens opened in August. Here’s the full video:
Is the Six Ravens pin free?
Free with a purchase. Guests who buy something during the grand opening get a collectible pin with the Six Ravens logo, while supplies last, according to WDW News Today and Laughing Place.
“Treasures await early guests, but only while supplies last,” the announcement says. So if you want the pin, plan to show up early.
Laughing Place said the pin uses the same logo as the Six Ravens souvenir mug. The post also teases a “regal crown” for guests “of noble spirit,” without explaining what that means yet.
Where is Six Ravens at Disney Springs?
At The Landing, in the old Art of Shaving storefront, a few doors down from Gideon’s Bakehouse, WDWMAGIC reported.
It’s a grab-and-go setup. You order inside and take your food outside, a lot like Gideon’s, Disney Food Blog noted.
What is a Coffyn at Six Ravens?
It’s the house specialty. A Coffyn is a soft yeast roll stuffed with savory fillings, and each one comes with its own named dipping sauce, like the Pink Salamander sauce for the cheeseburger.
The fillings come from Gideon’s kitchen staff and Central Florida chefs who collaborated on the menu, WDWMAGIC reported in January.
The name goes back to old-school hand pies. WDWMAGIC said “Coffyn” is the original term for them, which fits the restaurant’s medieval storybook look.
When Six Ravens opened in August, every Coffyn cost $10.99, BlogMickey reported. Some of the fillings on that first menu:
The Peasant’s Patty: cheeseburger with American cheese and dill pickle bits
The Moreish Monk: grilled cheese with Vermont white cheddar, havarti and tomato jam
The Wizard’s Wonder: mac and cheese, pickled poblanos and pulled pork
The Imperial Idol: mildly spicy chicken curry with potato and carrot
The Rooster’s Roar: bacon, egg and cheese, served from 9 a.m. until it sells out
The Foragers Find: spiced roasted sweet potatoes, black bean corn salsa, pepitas and queso cotija, a meat-free pick
There are smashed potatoes called Tale Teller Tatties ($8.66) and a Gideon’s chocolate chip tart with fudge and raspberry jam, The Tart’s Tempest ($7.66). Prices may have changed since August.
Who runs Six Ravens?
The same folks behind Gideon’s Bakehouse, the cookie shop known for its nearly half-pound cookies.
Steve Lewis founded Gideon’s in late 2016 at East End Market in Orlando, and it opened at Disney Springs on Dec. 20, 2020, WDWMAGIC reported.
Lewis announced Six Ravens in January, on Gideon’s fifth anniversary at Disney Springs. “I got my start at Disney Springs as a secret menu item at the Polite Pig,” he wrote at the time.
The buildout permit named The First Raven LLC, led by Lewis, as the client, WDWMAGIC reported. Window graphics went up on the storefront in December 2025.
How early should you get to the Six Ravens grand opening?
Earlier than you think, if the pin matters to you. Disney Food Blog expects a busy morning, and the post makes clear the treasures are for early guests.
Disney World’s website lists regular hours of 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Six Ravens doesn’t take Disney Dining Plan meals. It hasn’t said how many pins it has. If you’re going, check the Disney World website or the Six Ravens Instagram that morning before you park.
