Dracula is trading the crypt for a kids meal.

Availability appears to vary by location, and the collection may already be turning up at some restaurants.
Which characters are included?
The seven toys include:
The Wolfman Plush
Dracula with bat
Creature from the Black Lagoon
Frankenstein (Glows-in-the-Dark)
The Mummy
The Invisible Man Color-Changing Spoon
Bride of Frankenstein Glow-in-the-Dark Spoon
Universal Monsters hit BK before in 1997
Burger King ran a Universal Monsters collection in 1997 featuring Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, the Wolf Man, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Those four have been the studio’s core quartet for decades.
Nearly thirty years later, the characters are back in the fast food aisle with a considerably softer design. The 1997 toys leaned into the classic monster look. The Sonic art is rounded and friendly, aimed at kids who have never seen a black-and-white Universal picture.
Universal has been pushing these characters hard
At Universal Epic Universe, the monsters anchor an entire land.
Dark Universe is built around Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, which takes guests into Frankenstein Manor and features Dracula, the Wolf Man, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and others across 14 animated figures. That attraction was reportedly Steven Spielberg’s idea.
In July 2026, a fan-designed Universal Monsters project from SpectralBricks cleared Lego Ideas review and was selected for production as a future set.
Universal is also running an extensive Monsters and Dark Universe merchandise line, covering plush, apparel, and collectible figures for Dracula, the Bride of Frankenstein, and the Creature.
Hot Wheels is on the way out
Sonic’s previous Wacky Pack promotion, Hot Wheels Fast Foodies, was scheduled to run through August 30, and it also featured seven toys.
Restaurants transition on their own timelines, so some locations may still be handing out Hot Wheels while others have already switched. If the first Sonic you try does not have monsters, another one nearby might.
