Spirit Halloween Stores Will Be Opening Soon!
A Xenomorph and Freddy Fazbear Animatronics Are Rumored.
Now that it’s July, many Halloween fans are wondering when Spirit Halloween will open, and the answer depends on your location.
The Flagship Store
Spirit Halloween’s Flagship Store in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, will open on August 1, 2026, at 10 AM.
This year, guests were allowed to register to secure an opening spot in line. Don’t worry if you missed out. It’s still free for all to attend, and you do not need an early registration. You will need to wait in line, though.
Spirit Halloween says that camping for a spot will be prohibited.

Registration is FREE and not required to attend the event, but highly recommended for anyone who wants to be one of the first guests in the store. General admission will still take place on-site.

“The earliest time attendees are welcome to arrive on site is 7 AM EDT on Saturday, August 1, 2026, the morning of the event. Please plan accordingly. Overnight parking and camping are not permitted anywhere at Harbor Square.”

Other store locations
The other Spirit Halloween locations should start opening later in mid- to late August.
Stores will be listed on the website after July 30th, but they could open sooner.

Rumors
New rumors indicate that there are new animatronics coming for 2026, including an Alien Xenomorph and a Five Nights at Freddy’s Freddy Fazbear (retailing for $500).
This image was leaked, seemingly indicating that they are real.
Another black-and-white image reportedly shows the store set up with pricing.
My daughter is already coveting the FNAF animatronic and informed me she will be purchasing it for her room where he will get a Santa hat during the Christmas season.
