A new rumor from Markie Devo indicates that Starbucks’ popular Black Cat Frappuccino may come to the United States in October. The drink was previously released in Japan.
According to food blogger Markie Devo, the popular Black Cat Frappuccino from Starbucks may hit stateside locations in October.
What is the Black Cat Frappuccino?
The Black Cat Frappuccino is the Açaí Berry Frappuccino that was released for a limited time in Japan last October.
It is a sweet yet tart blend of açaí, raspberry, black currant, and blackberry, mixed with black crunch and topped with whipped cream, black chocolate sauce, and cookie ears.
Rumors indicate the USA release could be a cold brew version.
Basically, we don’t know, but Markie Devo says the image is from a Starbucks employee.
I wish they were as cool-looking as the Japanese version, but the baristas have so many new drinks and syrups over here that it might be hard for them to keep up the look with the inevitable demand.
Could we get the amazing merchandise as well?
I have not heard a rumor about the black cat merchandise, but I would love to see it in the States.
Here is what was released in Japan last year.
This collection is so cute! I love the Bearista in the cat suit and the adorable mugs!
Fingers crossed the rumor is true.
I’m crossing all my toes too, hoping we get the full collection.
