Starbucks’ holiday menu returns Nov. 5 with a new Tiramisu Velvet Latte, an Apple Pomegranate Refresher with popping pearls and a Bearista cake pop. Chestnut Praline isn’t on the list.
Starbucks holiday season has a start date, and this year’s big new drink tastes like dessert.
The holiday menu arrives Nov. 5 at participating stores, Starbucks announced. The headliner is a new Tiramisu Velvet Latte, plus a fruity new Refresher for anyone who’d rather skip the espresso.
The four holiday regulars are back too. One longtime favorite isn’t, and some fans have noticed.
What’s new on the Starbucks holiday menu for 2026?
Four drinks are new this year:
Tiramisu Velvet Latte: hot or iced, inspired by the Italian dessert, topped with a mascarpone cold foam and a cocoa and coffee dusting
Tiramisu Velvet Cold Brew: the same mascarpone foam and dusting on cold brew
Apple Pomegranate Refresher: crisp apple flavor with pomegranate-flavored pearls that pop
Snowy Apple Refresher: a creamier take on the same drink, made with coconut milk
The Refreshers are the coffee-free options, and the popping pearls should make them easy to spot in a holiday cup.
Which Starbucks holiday drinks are coming back?
The usual four return Nov. 5:
Peppermint Mocha
Caramel Brulee Latte
Sugar Cookie Latte
Gingerbread Chai
Is Starbucks bringing back the Chestnut Praline Latte?
It isn’t on the list Starbucks announced. And some fans aren’t happy about it.
The Disney Food Blog noticed a wave of comments under Starbucks’ Instagram post asking for Chestnut Praline to return. “PETITION TO BRING BACK CHESTNUT PRALINE!!!” one person wrote.
Starbucks hasn’t said anything more about it, so for now it’s out.
The Chestnut Praline Latte first showed up on the holiday menu in 2014, Fortune reported at the time.
What holiday food is at Starbucks this year?
Three new food items join the case, and three favorites come back:
Bearista Cake Pop (new): shaped like the Bearista bear from Starbucks’ glass cold cup, for a limited time
Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese (new)
Turkey & Stuffing Sandwich: back with a new recipe
Cranberry Bliss Bar
Snowman Cookie
Sugar Plum Cheese Danish
What’s in the Starbucks holiday cups and merch?
Starbucks has four holiday merch collections. Three land Nov. 5:
Holiday Bearista: Bearista-themed drinkware, a plush keychain and matching accessories
Holiday Village: keepsakes inspired by the original Pike Place store in Seattle
Peppermint Mocha: retro-style cold cups, tumblers and espresso cups
The fourth, Winter Wonderland, follows on Nov. 17 with icy blue and white drinkware.
The original Bearista Glass Cold Cup is coming back too, but Starbucks hasn’t said when. Same for Red Cup Day, when buying a holiday drink gets you a collectible reusable cup. Starbucks says it returns later this season.
Can you get Starbucks holiday drinks at home?
Yes. Grocery stores get a new Peppermint Mocha Flavored Coffee, along with returning holiday coffees, creamers and bottled drinks.
When is Starbucks Red Cup Day 2026?
Starbucks hasn’t set a date yet. It only says Red Cup Day is coming back later this season.
Last year gives a pretty good hint. In 2025, the holiday menu launched Nov. 6 and Red Cup Day followed a week later, on Nov. 13, NBC reported. If Starbucks sticks to that pattern, Red Cup Day would land on Thursday, Nov. 12.
On Red Cup Day, anyone who orders a handcrafted holiday drink gets a free reusable red holiday cup, while supplies last.
How long has Starbucks done holiday cups?
Since 1997. Starbucks marked 25 years of holiday cups in 2022, FOX reported. The Peppermint Mocha joined the lineup in 2002.
This year’s start date is a day earlier than last year’s.
Does Dunkin’ start its holiday menu before Starbucks?
Sort of. Dunkin’s Avengers: Doomsday menu with Marvel Studios starts Nov. 4, one day ahead of Starbucks, Dunkin’ announced. Its Clobbered Cloud Latte comes topped with Cookie Butter Cold Foam. The lineup also includes a Doctor Doom Munchkins tin for $14.99.
Dunkin’ hasn’t announced a separate holiday menu for 2026 yet. Last year’s started Nov. 5, 2025, led by a Cookie Butter Cloud Latte.
Can you get Starbucks holiday drinks at Disney World?
There are Starbucks locations in all four Walt Disney World theme parks: Main Street Bakery at Magic Kingdom, Connections Cafe at EPCOT, Trolley Car Cafe at Hollywood Studios and Creature Comforts at Animal Kingdom. Disney Springs has two more, in the Marketplace and on the West Side. At Disneyland Resort, look for Market House on Main Street, U.S.A., and Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe at Disney California Adventure.
Disney hasn’t said which holiday items its park locations will carry, or whether they’ll start on Nov. 5 with everyone else. Check the menu in the Disney World app before you build a whole park day around a Tiramisu Velvet Latte.
Nov. 5 also lands right as Disney World’s holidays get going. Jingle Cruise returns to Magic Kingdom on Nov. 3, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party starts Nov. 8.
Peppermint Mocha in one hand, Jingle Cruise in the other. Not a bad week.
