The new album mixes EPCOT Center classics like Listen to the Land with Cosmic Rewind, Luminous and more. It closes with Walt Disney himself. Here’s the full track list.
EPCOT Center’s old soundtrack is finally easy to play in the car.
The Music of EPCOT is out on streaming services as of Friday, Oct. 23, BlogMickey reported. Disney says the album covers the park’s whole history, from the 1982 opening music to the newest rides.
It’s also sold as a two-LP vinyl set from Disney Music Emporium. The streaming track list matches the vinyl and runs 1 hour and 6 minutes.
What is The Music of EPCOT album based on?
A record from 1983. Disneyland Records released The Official Album of Walt Disney World EPCOT Center that year, with help from WED Enterprises, the group now called Walt Disney Imagineering.
“The goal was to capture the spirit of the park,” said Glenn Barker, who managed audio and video production for EPCOT at the time. He wanted to give guests “a great selection of EPCOT’s music,” according to BlogMickey.
The new album borrows that idea and stretches it across two discs. One is the past, and one is now.
What songs are on The Music of EPCOT?
Disney calls the first disc a nostalgic trip through the classic EPCOT Center attractions. Here’s the track list from Disney Music Emporium, as BlogMickey reported:
Main Entrance Medley, from Future World.
Energy (You Make the World Go ‘Round), from Universe of Energy.
The Computer Song, from EPCOT Computer Central.
Magic Journeys (Extended Version), from Journey Into Imagination.
Canada (You’re a Lifetime Journey), from the Canada pavilion.
New Horizons, from Horizons.
Universe of Energy, from Universe of Energy.
Listen to the Land, from The Land.
One Little Spark, from Journey Into Imagination.
It’s Fun to Be Free, from World of Motion.
Makin’ Memories, from Journey Into Imagination.
Kitchen Kabaret Medley, from The Land.
It’s Fun to Be Free (1983 Jazz Version), from World of Motion.
Yes, that’s Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman singing The Computer Song themselves. The Kitchen Kabaret Medley brings back The Cereal Sisters, Hamm and Eggz and the Fiesta Fruit.

What modern EPCOT music is on the album?
The second disc brings things up to today. It has 10 tracks:
EPCOT Suite, from Arrival Plaza, by Pinar Toprak.
Opening, from Test Track, by Zain Effendi.
Soarin’ Around the World, by Bruce Broughton.
Xandar Gallery, from Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, by Tyler Bates.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (Ride-Through Mix), by Michael Giacchino.
Where You Are, Leap Fountain Zone, from Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.
Reflection, from the China pavilion, by Christopher Tin.
Remember Me, from the Mexico pavilion, by Germaine Franco.
Heartbeat Symphony, from Luminous: The Symphony of Us, sung by Shelea.
Walt Disney Talking About EPCOT, from Walt Disney’s EPCOT (1967).
That last one is an archival recording of Walt describing his original idea for EPCOT. It’s a fitting way to end it.
Which EPCOT Center songs are missing from the album?
Going by the track list, a few fan favorites didn’t make it. Golden Dream from The American Adventure isn’t on it, and neither is anything from Spaceship Earth.
Still, getting Listen to the Land and New Horizons on a modern streaming release is a big deal for EPCOT fans. The 1982 Land pavilion background music had already turned into a social media favorite by 2024, BlogMickey noted.
Is Dreamfinder coming back to EPCOT?
Yes. Disney said at D23 in August that Dreamfinder is returning to EPCOT after 28 years, as PNP reported Aug. 16.
So the timing works out. Three of the first disc’s tracks come from the original Journey Into Imagination, including One Little Spark, Dreamfinder and Figment’s big song.
Where can you get The Music of EPCOT?
On the major streaming services now, or on vinyl through Disney Music Emporium. WDWMAGIC reported the vinyl track list in August, ahead of D23.
So put on One Little Spark and New Horizons back to back. It’s the closest thing to a Horizons ride you’re getting this year.
