The holiday season of 2026 is coming soon. Here is a list of potential hot toys your kids or grandkids might want as a gift.
The holidays are coming quickly, and many will start shopping very soon. We compiled a list of some potentially hot toys for 2026.
Of course, your children might prefer other options, but these choices are usually safe bets.
Unless marked as “exclusive,” these toys can be found at stores like Amazon, Walmart, and Target.
Super Mario Galaxy Movie Hatchin’ Yoshi Interactive Figure - $50-$60
“Begin by tapping the egg, knocking on it, and rocking it back and forth. Soon the egg starts to rock side to side on its own, then cracks open as Yoshi pops out with a cheerful “Yoshi!” Once Yoshi is out, there’s more to do. Pat Yoshi’s nose and head to trigger reactions and light-up eyes, watch Yoshi rock its head side to side as you play, and see its whole body rock when it gets excited. Press down on Yoshi’s shell and speak to hear Yoshi respond; after a while, the exchange winds down with an “aww.” When playtime is over, the bottom half of the egg doubles as a display stand so you can keep Yoshi on show”
Nintendo Yum Yum Yoshi 9.5 inch Figure - $30
Lean Yoshi forward to extend his tongue to grab the fruit – again and again!

Pokémon Pikachu Puppetronic by RealFX - $79
Pokémon is incredibly popular. The tabletop game cards are also a great bet, but this Pikachu Puppetronic is super cool!
“Made by RealFX, this 16-inch interactive plush brings the iconic Pokémon to life through advanced touch and motion sensors. Each hand movement you make triggers one of 120+ sounds and actions as Pikachu reacts with a moving mouth, blinking eyes, dual-motion ears, and glowing cheeks.”
PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie Megasaurus Dino Vehicle - $50 -$65
This set is super cool as it has a 2.5-foot-tall inflatable dinosaur!
“Press the vehicle's light bar to activate sounds and inflate a 2.5-foot-tall dinosaur toy”
VTech Kidi Star Rockstar Interactive Musical Guitar - $50
"Strum the interactive strings and press the frets to explore four guitar styles including acoustic, electric, rock, and sound effects. Play an exciting catch-the-light music game by strumming the strings or tapping the whammy bar to match the rhythm of the lights.
