“Toy Story 5” starts streaming on Disney+ this Wednesday, Sept. 23.
The film opened in theaters on June 19, which puts the gap at just over three months.

How long did Toy Story 5 take to reach streaming?
Ninety-six days, which is short by current Disney standards and very short for a film that performed.
For comparison, “The Mandalorian and Grogu” opened on May 22 and did not arrive on Disney+ until Sept. 2. That is 103 days, a full week longer, for a movie that came out a month earlier.
Disney has spent the last few years moving these windows around constantly, and the pattern now depends more on what else is on the streaming calendar than on how a film did in theaters.
Is Toy Story 5 included with a Disney+ subscription?
Yes. No extra fee, no premium access charge. It arrives as part of the standard catalog on all plans.

For families planning Halloween viewing, the combination of “Toy Story 5” landing Wednesday and the Halloween slate arriving the following week covers most of the month without anyone needing to leave the house.
One scheduling note for anyone with young kids: Disney+ releases land at 3 a.m. Eastern on the day of, so the film will be there before breakfast Wednesday rather than at some point during the day.
