Universal’s year-round Las Vegas haunt lowered prices for the rest of 2026. The biggest drop, 69%, is on a Fraidy Cat ticket that doesn’t include a single haunted house.
Universal Horror Unleashed just got cheaper. Universal’s year-round, Halloween Horror Nights-style attraction at AREA15 in Las Vegas has cut ticket prices across its calendar through the end of 2026, Full House of Horrors first reported on Sunday, Oct. 11.
The number going around is 69%. That’s real, but it applies to one kind of ticket on three nights, and that ticket doesn’t get you into any haunted houses.
Universal hasn’t announced the changes or said why prices dropped, according to Full House of Horrors. The new prices just showed up.
Universal’s own channel went behind the scenes with the original Jack and Chance earlier this year:
Which Universal Horror Unleashed ticket is 69% off?
The Fraidy Cat ticket. It gets you into the themed areas but skips the houses entirely.
On Nov. 27, Dec. 26 and Dec. 27, Fraidy Cat dropped from $49 to $14.99, Full House of Horrors reported. That’s where the 69% comes from.
October is a smaller cut. Fraidy Cat now runs $19.99 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, $29.99 on Fridays and $39.99 on Saturdays, Halloween included. Full House of Horrors put those cuts at roughly 26% to 49%, depending on the night.
From Nov. 5 on, it’s $14.99 almost every night. For context, Fraidy Cat launched in March 2026 at a regular price of $29.
How much are Universal Horror Unleashed tickets now?
Here are the new price ranges, according to Full House of Horrors:
Fraidy Cat (no houses): $19.99 to $39.99 in October, $14.99 to $19.99 in November and December
One-Time Access: $74.99 to $94.99 in October, $49.99 to $74.99 in November and December
Unlimited Access: $94.99 to $124.99 in October, $69.99 to $94.99 in November and December
Nevada residents: $64.99 to $84.99 in October, $39.99 to $64.99 in November and December
The house tickets came down less. For November and December, One-Time and Unlimited tickets dropped roughly 15% to 26%, by our math from the old and new ranges.
October One-Time prices barely moved. WDW News Today listed them as unchanged, and the Halloween night ticket on Saturday, Oct. 31, still sits around $94.99.
Has Universal Horror Unleashed cut prices before?
Yes. This spring it ran a general admission sale through April 30, with One-Time Access at $49 and Unlimited at $79, Full House of Horrors noted.
Fraidy Cat itself launched with a $19.99 sale that lasted about two months. So the new $14.99 price is the cheapest that ticket has been.
A few other prices moved this month, too:
Unlimited, October Saturdays: $149 down to $119.99
Unlimited, October Sundays: $129 down to $94.99
Haunted High Rollers VIP (up to six guests): $2,900 down to $2,750 on October Sundays
Is Universal Horror Unleashed closing?
Nothing points that way. WDW News Today reported that Universal isn’t planning to close Horror Unleashed and has shared an events schedule through the end of 2027.
Full House of Horrors said that calendar includes an expanded Krampus event in December and a new house planned for August 2027.
The price cuts have fans talking, though. Full House of Horrors described fans “whispering about thin crowds.” Nobody has published attendance numbers, and Universal hasn’t commented.
What’s inside Universal Horror Unleashed?
Four haunted houses, according to WDW News Today:
Universal Monsters
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Scarecrow: The Reaping
Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer
Beyond the houses, there are themed spaces like Jack’s Alley, The Boiler and Warehouse 25, Full House of Horrors noted. Universal also added HamiKuma, The Purge and M3GAN for the Halloween season.
When is Universal Horror Unleashed open?
Thursday through Sunday, 4 to 10:30 p.m., with Wednesdays added in October, according to Full House of Horrors. When it opened in August 2025, it ran five nights a week.
There’s no annual pass right now. Online ticket buyers do get 25% off at Omega Mart, the Meow Wolf attraction at AREA15, through Dec. 31. That perk works with Fraidy Cat tickets too.
So the math depends on what you came for. House fans are saving roughly $9 to $34 a ticket this winter. People who just want to wander the alleys and soak up the mood can get in for $14.99 on Thanksgiving weekend.
