Holidays at Universal Orlando run Nov. 14 to Jan. 3. Isle of Berk goes all in on its Viking Christmas, and Grinchmas and the Macy’s parade return.
The Vikings are decking the halls again.
Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort will run Nov. 14, 2026, through Jan. 3, 2027, across all three theme parks, CityWalk and the resort hotels. The big headline is at Epic Universe, where How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk is celebrating Snoggletog with festive decor, seasonal food and drinks and new merchandise.
It’s not Snoggletog’s first year in Berk. Last year, Snoggletog decorations showed up inside a few Isle of Berk shops, including Hiccup’s Workshop, which got wreaths, mistletoe and a wooden Snoggletog tree. This year, Universal is billing it as a full celebration across the land.
Here’s a look at holiday food and decor at Epic Universe, Isle of Berk included, from Super Enthused:
What is Snoggletog?
It’s the Vikings’ version of Christmas in DreamWorks’ How to Train Your Dragon franchise. Think feasts, Viking traditions and plenty of dragon chaos.
Fans first saw it in the 2011 animated short Gift of the Night Fury, a holiday special starring Hiccup and Toothless.
Universal hasn’t released the Snoggletog menu or merch lineup yet. It’s included with regular Epic Universe admission, so no extra ticket.
What else is happening at Epic Universe for the holidays?
All of Epic Universe gets dressed up this year:
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic joins the Christmas fun.
Super Nintendo World gets festive decorations plus holiday food and merch.
Celestial Park gets lit-up walkways and sparkly decor for a winter look.
When is Grinchmas at Universal Orlando?
Grinchmas is back at Islands of Adventure with the Grinch, the Whos and the Who-ville tree lot.
The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular runs daily at 10:15 and 11:15 a.m., and 12:15, 1:15, 3:30, 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., Chip and Company reported.
What time is Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s?
The parade rolls through Universal Studios Florida daily at 5:30 p.m. with giant balloons and floats. Earl the Squirrel, Universal’s holiday squirrel, is around for meet-and-greets, too.
What’s happening for Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter?
The classics return. In Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure, the Frog Choir sings holiday songs and The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle is back.
Over in Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida, Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees perform holiday favorites. The Holiday Tribute Store also returns with seasonal merch.
What is the Green and Red Coconut Club theme this year?
The CityWalk holiday bar is back with a new theme called Haus Noel. Picture an alpine pub mixed with an old-world Christmas market, with a slightly darker twist.
Annual Passholders get early access on Nov. 20 from 3 to 5 p.m.
How much is the Universal Holiday Tour?
It starts at $69.99 per person and lasts about two and a half hours. You get meet-and-greets with the Grinch, Max and Santa, reserved seats for Grinchmas and an optional reserved spot for the parade.
What do Universal Orlando passholders get for the holidays?
The big one is a collectible Earl the Squirrel button. Laughing Place spotted a tease suggesting a new Earl balloon in the parade, so the button may be a hint.
Passholders can grab it starting Nov. 14 at the UOAP Lounge in Toon Lagoon, open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Jan. 3, or at The Tonight Shop in Universal Studios Florida.
Other perks include:
An exclusive parade viewing area
Holiday fudge at select spots in all three parks
Exclusive merch, including a 2026 ornament
$10 off up to six Holiday Tour tickets
10% off merch for Seasonal and Power Passholders
Are there Universal Orlando hotel deals for the holidays?
Yes. Guests can save up to 30% on qualifying holiday stays. Florida residents can save up to 35%, and Annual Passholders up to 40%. Some vacation packages also include up to $300 in savings.
The hotels go all in, too, with holiday decor, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, tree lightings and menorah lightings at select properties.
How much are Universal Orlando tickets for the holidays?
A 3 Parks in 3 Days ticket, which covers one day each at Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, starts at $99 per day plus tax. Florida residents can get a 3-Day, 3-Park ticket for $85 per day plus tax, valid through Dec. 23.
Planning tip: the holiday season overlaps with Thanksgiving week and the stretch between Christmas and New Year’s, which are two of the busiest times of year in Orlando. If you want to see Snoggletog without the crowds, mid-November or early December weekdays are your friend.
