Universal Orlando's 2026 Earl the Squirrel collection runs from a $16 magnet to an $85 Spirit Jersey, so one of everything costs $261 before tax. The new light-up Toothless Loungefly backpack is listed at $95.
Earl the Squirrel is getting a Macy's balloon this year, and the gift shops at Universal Orlando are making sure nobody forgets it.
The 2026 Earl the Squirrel collection is out at Islands of Adventure, WDW News Today reported Tuesday, Nov. 3, and a lot of it is balloon-themed. Prices run from a $16 magnet to an $85 Spirit Jersey. Our math: grabbing one of everything costs $261 before tax.
That's just one slice of Universal's bigger holiday merch drop, announced Nov. 2. The headliner is a light-up Toothless Loungefly mini backpack, which Universal calls the first of its kind, listed at $95 on shopUniversal as "Coming Soon," Parade reported.
Here's a look at Universal's new holiday merch:
How much is the Earl the Squirrel merchandise at Universal Orlando?
Here's the full 2026 collection and prices, per WDW News Today:
Spirit Jersey, $85: Red, with the Universal Studios Florida arch and Macy's star balloons on the front. The back shows Earl's balloon being handled by two squirrels, under the words "Deck the Skies."
Tote bag, $45: Dark red, with Earl in a plaid hat and scarf surrounded by string lights.
Raglan shirt, $35: Heather gray with red sleeves, a Macy's star balloon on the chest and Earl's balloon on the back.
Hat, $35: Red-and-black plaid with faux fur trim and tie-up flaps, basically Earl's own hat, with an Earl patch peeking through a wreath.
Youth T-shirt, $25: Red, with the balloon design on the back.
Mug, $20: Burgundy, with Earl's face on one side and "Earl's Tree Farm" on the other. Hand wash only.
Magnet, $16: Earl in a snow globe with his red truck and a Christmas tree.
WDWNT found the collection at the Port of Entry Christmas Shoppe and Island Market, plus the Export Candy Shoppe. Universal says more Earl apparel, accessories and collectibles are part of this year's lineup, so this list could grow.
What is in the light-up Toothless holiday collection?
Toothless gets the Snoggletog treatment this year. The collection comes from How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk at Epic Universe:
Light-up Toothless Loungefly mini backpack, $95: Toothless in a Santa hat with holiday lights, per Parade.
Light-up Toothless Loungefly headband: Made to match. No price yet.
Toothless holiday Squishmallow: Exclusive to Universal's parks. No price yet.
Quarter-zip fleece Spirit Jersey: For dragon riders who get cold in Florida in December. All six of them.
The Snoggletog collection is also sold at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Kids Resort.
Minions fans get a Squishmallow, too. A Bob and Tim holiday Squishmallow is listed at $30 on shopUniversal, also "Coming Soon," Parade reported. Universal's Night Fury and Light Fury Squishmallows went for $30 each in August, Laughing Place reported, so don't be shocked if the holiday Toothless lands near there.
What other holiday merchandise is at Universal in 2026?
Universal's announcement covers almost every corner of the resort:
Wizarding World of Harry Potter: A holiday Spirit Jersey and an exclusive Harry Potter x Lug crossbody bag, plus ornaments and drinkware. K. Rammelle and Place Cachee in Epic Universe's Ministry of Magic get holiday decor and ornaments.
Grinchmas: A Spirit Jersey, a wreath-shaped crossbody bag, a headband and new Grinch and Max plush.
Super Nintendo World: A holiday hoodie, backpack and plush.
Merry Minions: A headband, Spirit Jersey and Lug crossbody bag.
Shrek the Halls: A Spirit Jersey and headband. Yes, that's really the name.
Hello Kitty and Friends: A headband and a cozy cardigan.
Atom Brick sets: Buildable versions of the Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood entrances, a first for Universal.
The Holiday Tribute Store returns to Universal Studios Florida, too, themed this year to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade moments.
When do the holidays start at Universal Orlando?
Saturday, Nov. 14, and they run through Jan. 3. Merch is already rolling into stores this week, with select items on shopUniversal now and more arriving through the season.
Earl's balloon debuts at the 100th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 26, then joins Universal's Holiday Parade featuring Macy's at Universal Studios Florida. We covered the balloon news Oct. 28 and the Snoggletog return to Berk Oct. 20.
Earl started out as a squirrel with a Christmas tree truck. Now he has a balloon in New York and an $85 jersey. They grow up so fast.
