SeaWorld Orlando's Veterans Day weekend doesn't start until Nov. 13, two days after the holiday. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay starts its salute Friday, and Disney hadn't announced 2027 military tickets as of late October.
Veterans Day is Wednesday, Nov. 11, and Florida's theme parks have flags, fireworks and discounts ready. Check the calendar first, though.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay starts its Veterans Day Celebration Friday, Nov. 6 and runs it through Nov. 11, WFTV reported Thursday. SeaWorld Orlando is waiting. Its Veterans Weekend Celebration runs Nov. 13 to 15, the weekend after the holiday, according to the park's event page.
Navy Federal Credit Union presents both. The savings come through Waves of Honor, the parks' military program. At SeaWorld Orlando, verified veterans get 50% off single-day tickets for themselves and up to five guests.
SeaWorld Orlando's Military Silver Annual Pass is $169, down from $279. That's $110 off a year with no blockout dates.
What is Busch Gardens Tampa Bay doing for Veterans Day?
The park's event page lists these for Nov. 6 to 11:
Priority entrance: A Waves of Honor lane at the front gate for veterans and their families.
Free military button: Active-duty members, veterans and retirees can grab one with a military ID at Pass Member Landing or Guest Relations.
Live tributes: Soul and Inspiration plays at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Dragon Fire Grill, and Animal Tales adds a veterans salute.
Field of Honor and Honor Wall: Flags in front of Zagora Cafe and a photo wall across from the Flamingos.
Nov. 11 run: The Special Operations Forces Run starts at 10 a.m. and finishes at Cheetah Hunt Plaza.
That button is worth the stop. It unlocks 20% off select tours and Quick Queue, a free pastry with a Coaster Coffee purchase and $15 off a $60 gift shop haul.
What is SeaWorld Orlando doing for Veterans Day?
SeaWorld's version runs Friday, Nov. 13, through Sunday, Nov. 15, and it's included with admission:
Hero Salute: Veterans salutes at Orca Encounter, Dolphin Adventures and the sea lion show.
Veterans Fireworks: Friday through Sunday at sunset over Bayside Stadium, with live music.
Extras: A Waves of Honor entrance lane, a Field of Honor at Orca Stadium and Sammie the Sea Otter meet-and-greets.
A Military and Pass Member Picnic runs noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at Ports of Call. WFTV reported tickets cost $10 online or $15 that day, admission not included.
Brad Gilmour, who took over all three SeaWorld Orlando parks in August, said SeaWorld "has welcomed and honored military families" for more than 60 years.
How much are SeaWorld and Busch Gardens military tickets?
Single-day tickets: 50% off for the veteran and up to five guests at SeaWorld, or up to six guests at Busch Gardens. Use them by Dec. 31, 2026.
SeaWorld Military Silver Annual Pass: $169, normally $279, with three free guest tickets and up to 20% off in the park.
Four-park pass: SeaWorld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island for $254, normally $408.

Does Disney World have a Veterans Day deal?
Not a new one yet. Disney hadn't announced 2027 Armed Forces Salute tickets as of late October, Military Disney Tips reported. Last year, the Disney Parks Blog unveiled 2026 military tickets on Veterans Day itself.
Those 2026 tickets still work through Dec. 18, minus a Nov. 22 to 28 blockout. A 6-day Park Hopper is $449 plus tax. Disney sells them to active-duty and retired military, not every veteran.
Disneyland's 2026 Military Salute tickets start at $314 for a 3-day Park Hopper, on sale through Dec. 27 at base ticket offices and GOVX.com.
Disney also keeps a tradition going. Last Veterans Day, 150 to 200 veteran cast members marched down Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland before the Flag Retreat.
What about Universal, Legoland and other parks?
Legoland Florida: Free admission through Nov. 30 for active and retired military, veterans and first responders, plus 50% off for up to six guests. Laughing Place reported SEA LIFE and Madame Tussauds Orlando have the same deal.
Universal Orlando: No Veterans Day offer on its military page. Its 2026 Military Freedom Pass covers 100% disabled veterans, not all veterans.
Six Flags: Six Flags Over Texas (Nov. 14) and Great Adventure (Nov. 14 and 15) give veterans a free one-day ticket at the gate.
Knott's Berry Farm: Military Tribute Days tickets are $29 for veterans and up to five guests, on select weekdays through Dec. 17.
